Q: How should the co-chairs participate in maintaining an updated website?

    A:
Meeting Info: Info for any future meetings --County council or General Membership -- should be sent to webmaster@sdgreens.org as soon as it is available so that it could be posted on the web. It is recommended to have the info posted at least 2 weeks before the meeting day.
These include time, date, location and meeting agenda. Having the agenda posted ahead of time will allow the councilmembers to prepare and read up on the proposals, and also it allows for a more democratic process since all Greens can have access prior to meetings and can send any comments or suggestions. It is best to also send the text of each proposal that is to be included in the agenda.
Sample agendas are available at agenda.html.

Minutes: The minutes for each meeting should be sent to the webmaster@sdgreens.org so that they can be posted. The page for the minutes is at minutes.html.

Officer Duties: Any changes to the officers and their duties should be sent to webmaster@sdgreens.org.

Green Events and Info: Upcoming Green Events or important Council decisions should be announced through the web and the mailing list. Also, if the council decides to participate at some event and would like volunteers, for instance, the webmasters should be notified. Send the relevant info to webmaster@sdgreens.org or by using our online form.
