Dean Calbreath is an award-winning reporter for The San Diego Union -Tribune. In 2005 and 2006, he was part of the Pulitzer Prize-winning team that uncovered the bribery scheme of former Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham. Because of the team's effort, Cunningham is now spending eight years in jail for taking at least $2.4 million in bribes. Their book "The Wrong Stuff: The Extraordinary Saga of Randy 'Duke' Cunningham, the Most Corrupt Congressman Ever Caught" not only details the decline and fall of Randy Cunningham but also takes a look at the entire military-industrial-Congressional complex and how Congress members earmark legislation to benefit specific businesses that contribute money to their campaigns. Calbreath came to San Diego in 1997 after four years in Prague , where he wrote for the European edition of The Wall Street Journal and Business Central Europe, a publication owned by London 's Economist magazine.
