(1) Treasurer's Report: - $658.05 income - $306.9 6 from Uptown Greens, but this wa s; future contributions are welcome - current balance at ~ $2076 Council member duties - replacement of interim officers is tabled until next meeting, when more people show up. Interim offices remain until 2/12/02 Bylaws Amendment Proposed changes: 2-2.2 changed to 15 years old 5-1.1 changed to two proposals, to resolve issues raised by 2-2.3 Tammy objects to including "Green Local" in 2-2.3(a), on the grounds that it crowds out smaller locals. Also the risk of a local taking over the GM; might swell size of GM. 4-1.7 and 4-1.8 are new 4-2.1 added new sentence Clause specifying documentation certifying inability to voet, submitted in person or by mail, added to 2-2.2 2-2.3(a) addition of "local" to this clause Ric's objections: locals take over GM? We should empower locals rather than swell GM. Magali stands aside. The Bylaws Amendment is tabled (again) until the next GPSDCC meeting Candidate Campaign reports: skipped over Plenary Budget (Ric) Ric calculates that ~ $200 is needed for the delegates, or ~$350 if we also give money to the alternates. These figures reflect costs of registration fees and reproducing the packets. Magali suggests that we stipulate reports, later amended to a general debriefing and report. Decision: give money to delegates but not to alternates. Clean Elections funding request Clean Election forum, February 3rd, Sherman Heights Community Center All candidates in districts 5 and 8 were invited, including Escamilla and Bell. Proposal: allocate $37.50 for this event. Passed. Yearly Budget Proposal: individual volunteers needed for creating a yearly budget Alternative: council members submit lists of activities that they want to see, with anticipated expenses.
